These are the terms for the website building service I (Sean Bolger, trading as GroundBridge) run. They apply from the moment you pay for a build or a monthly plan.
The one-off build is a single payment — see the options page you came from for the current price. That's it — no monthly fees attached to it, and no hidden extras. If you don't add a plan, your new site goes onto your current web host and it's yours to run from day one. You keep paying your web address (domain) and hosting exactly as you do now.
Three plans are available — see the options page for current prices. Each can also be paid yearly instead, which works out to 10 months' price for 12 months of service (two months free). With a plan, hosting is included and your web address is pointed to my hosting once you say when.
You can leave any time, on one month's notice, no reason required and no questions asked. Your plan keeps running for that month, then stops. You get all your files and data, and I'll help move your site over to your own hosting.
If you pay yearly and change your mind in the first 30 days, you'll get your money back, less one month's fee. After those 30 days, the plan runs to the end of the year you've paid for — there's no part-way refund once the 30 days have passed.
The site, the content, the design and the data are yours from day one, forever. On any plan, you also get a download of your whole site every month, to keep wherever you like. If you ever want to use your own web person instead of me, the files are yours and I'll hand them straight over.
There's no "built by" credit or link back to me anywhere on your site. It's your website, not my advert.
Anything beyond the build and the plans — things like the reviews package, extra pages or social media set-up — is priced separately, as shown on the options page, and only happens if you ask for it. Where an add-on is billed by someone else (for example, an email mailbox is billed directly by Google or Microsoft, not by me), that's a separate charge from them, on their own terms.
Every site is built with basic SEO, and the Complete and Growth plans do more on top of that. What I won't do is promise you the top spot on Google — nobody can honestly guarantee that.
